INTERIOR and Local Government Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II spent part of his weekend swearing in newly elected political allies in the cities of Cebu and Danao. Vice President Jejomar Binay, who defeated Roxas in the 2010 elections, is scheduled to visit this morning and to swear in his allies in Cebu City’s Team Rama. Both men are likely contenders for the presidency in 2016.
